Switzerland continues to attract foreign companies in 2010 - at least this is the statement made by Bilan in its newest edition (October 2010) and based on a survey among major cantons in Switzerland.
The reasons why companies are setting up are various: attractive tax system, tax holidays and incentive measures in combination with Arrêté Bonny, social-economical-political stability, strong currency which has its benefits, vast competences in some key industries as in life sciences, nano-micro technology, information technology or logistics. ...
Certain cantons continue to reduce their taxes in the coming years even further which probably will not have a negative impact on foreign investment in Switzerland....
